I really don’t understand why you consider him an unproven player?? He is with his 22-years the leader of the 5th best ranked FIFA-team. He totally dominated the midfield during the two matches against England..Lampard could only look and suffer..He totally dominated the midfield against Ballack when Croatia played with Germany on EURO2008 and u consider him an unproven player,man you must be joking!!! He is very young and will get better and better,you’ll see when we beat England again..

What a stupid reaction and based on nothing..my dear footballfriend,Luka Modric has only 22 years and he is already the leader of the Croatian national team which have beaten in the last 2 years Italy,England twice and Germany. Not to mention all the other achievements he already accomplished as a young player. He is still young and he will improve more and more…he is already a star but he is not pretentious and always stays moderate..Our Croatian future is bright with players like him..
